College of Arts and Sciences
The College of Arts and Sciences combines the strengths of a small liberal arts college with the resources of a large comprehensive university. We provide instruction to students in communication skills, critical thinking, social and cultural criticism, computation, scientific reasoning and more.
Research centers include the Center for Flame Retardant Material Science, the Fitz Center for Leadership in Community and the Integrative Science and Engineering Center.
Curriculums combine theory and practice, so students are prepared for post-graduate success.
We believe that diversity is essential to lifelong learning.
The Graduate Program in Computer Science offers a comprehensive approach to the theory and application of computer science. Graduates of the program will have a thorough grounding in the theory of computing science and will have the ability to apply that knowledge to a variety of problem areas. Students in the program will also be exposed to a variety of analytical methods.
