Dayton offers discounts for summer enrollment!

Undergraduate

  • Tuition is reduced by almost 50% for students enrolled in summer courses.
  • On campus housing is available for as low as $1,030 for a shared residence hall with $300 dining option. (Students are not required to live on campus during the summer term.)
  • All undergraduate majors are available.

Graduate

  • Housing discounts of 50% are available for currently enrolled students.
  • Students who are already enrolled can stay in existing housing. There is no need to sign a short-term lease or move your belongings to storage.
  • Less time, same credits – summer is a shorter term, but counts as a full semester.
  • Nine graduate programs offer summer enrollment. Check with your advisor to see if your program is offered.

Other benefits of staying in summer

  • Exclusive activities and trips – past events have included trips to amusement parks, museums, zoo/aquarium, sporting events, and more.
  • On campus job opportunities – Many UD offices need student employees in the summer when other students return home.
  • Career development opportunities – focus on building your career over summer with a virtual internship (deadline: May 1st).
  • No visa challenges – stay in the US, then seamlessly progress to the fall semester.

The application deadline for summer starts is April 16th. Move-in day is May 7th and Classes begin on May 13th.

*Note – MBAN is on a quarter system and has the following dates: Application deadline is May 27th, move-in day is June 25th, and classes start on July 1st.
